I started running more than a year ago to get healthier. I also got to loose almost 90lbs. I always dreamed of running a marathon, but was never able to because I was so heavy. As soon as the weight started coming off, I started training for the A1A Marathon and fulfilled my life goal to be able to run 26.2 miles. The best part of it all was seeing my friends and family at the finish line. It was a very emotional moment for me since I was also celebrating my weight loss. I continue to run and have participated in many races after the marathon. I am so hooked on running now that I cannot stop and will run another marathon in the future. I feel so much better and so healthy and I feel fit and fine! :)

Each year, my father and I ride the MS150 from the University of Miami to Key Largo and back...it's 150 miles of rear breaking exercise. We prepare and work hard all year to ride for this great cause. This picture is about 50 miles from the finish line at the Homestead Speedway.
