 Team In Training is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's endurance sports training program. Whatever your fitness level, Team In Training will provide everything you need to run or walk a marathon, cycle a century bike ride, or participate in an Olympic distance triathlon, adventure race, duathlon or inline skating event, including: personalized coaching, group training and support, transportation and lodging at the event of your choice, payment of the race entry fee, and the chance to meet new people and be part of a team. In exchange, you will raise funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to invest in research to find cures for blood cancers and to help improve the lives of patients and their families. As a Team In Training® member, you will achieve the personal milestone of completing an endurance event as you further the efforts of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The half marathon will take place in beautiful downtown St. Petersburg, Florida along a scenic waterfront course, through quaint communities, past historic buildings and museums. The race start and finish takes place in front of the famous waterfront Mahaffey theatre. This half marathon is very walker friendly with a 4.5 hour finish time and is fast enough to set a P.R.
